After battling depression/anxiety for years and trying every antidepressant out there (SSRI's, Wellbutrin, etc.) and feeling tired and agitated on them, (at the same time)and suffering side effects from them I would try to go off them and get hypomanic and then drop into depression again. I finally went to a psychiatrist who diagnosed me with Bipolar II. He started me on Lamictal and am now taking 100-150 mg at night. It has really helped me with the anxiety and social phobia but I still feel depressed. I don't know if this is due to the extreme fatigue I feel that hits me around 7:00 PM and sleeping so much. Has anyone else suffered fatigue and memory problems with this med?

Hi Trish. As Partlycloudy said, posting here can be a bit confusing at first. There are lots of boards on Babble.
I've redirected your post to the medication board (plain) Psycho-Babble, and hopefully those knowledgeable about medications can give you a hand there. Here's a link:
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/20050521/msgs/501110.html
But if you need support, or just want to have fun, Social is a great place for that. And any posts offering you support or a warm welcome can continue on this thread. :)
Also, if you're in therapy, there's Psychological Babble. If you have health concerns, there's Psycho-Babble Health. And so on. There is a list of the whole bewildering array, with descriptions, at the top of each main page, and an abbreviated set of links toward the top ant bottom.
If you've already posted your question on the medication board, I apologize for overlooking it. And if not, I hope this helps.
Dinah
