I've been asked that question more than once, although I think it was more literal.
I've only been coming here since last October. I came in to check on a drug I had been put on (Effexor) and it took till December for me to come out and post. Tamara had posted and it brought me out of my hiding place.
So, how about you?

Been lurking since spring or summer of 2001. Started posting in summer or fall of 2001. If I remember correct, which goodness only knows whether I do.

wow..some of these guys have been here for quite some time..interesting..
i started "babbling" around august or september of last year. started off on the meds board, learning about and analyzing meds (crash course) and trying to help ppl there (and socialize, when bob would let me).:) then i realized the social board was MUCH more fun!

Started lurking in October 2003 when I was put on effexor. Pretty much jumped in soon after that. Can't imagine getting through the throes of mental illness without this place.

Crikeys.. I was 24 when I started posting here.. newly engaged, still got a great job and career, and only just starting to fall apart..
Here I am, 30, married for 5 years, retruning to work and building a whole new career.. This place has seen me through so much. Its quite amazing really.
*grinning* I remember finally finding an internet cafe on my honeymoon and rushing in to post a link to some photos of our wedding day.. Even back then this place meant the world to me!
Its been a roller coaster.. but without that roller coaster I'd have never found PB, and never made the fantastically awesome friends that I have.
6 years feels like such a long time sometimes.. and others hardly anything

19 June 2004, first post, less than 2 weeks before my dear ex-T., who I was bonded to like superglue, moved away :-(
Lurking since Feb 2004.
Babble was/is an absolute Godsend in so many ways.
Great question, Broken! (or, as I prefer to think of you, "just slightly damaged and getting more fixed up all the time"...I know - too long for a posting name :-)

Hmm, only since Jan '05 when I was going through withdrawal from Efexor XR. This place and these people are an incredible blessing.
This is the end of the thread.
