is this...
I have these five black dogs who have either white or white and brown markings on them.
Are they calicos?
Paints?
Pintos?
Tricolors?
Please help me here.
I think I've listened to Led Zeppelin one time too many.Gotta send one of my other dogs to the happy hunting grounds because she's out hunting deer every chance she gets to escape (like pulling my chain link fence apart with her teeth today) and this evening she came home with a fresh chest portion of a rib cage. Poor deer couldn't have been any bigger than the dog. I hate getting adult dogs, like her. She is so sweet and wonderful about everything but this and her penchant for attacking the other dogs just out of the blue. You never know what they learned in their life before you and how it's gonna manifest.
Shyt!
Say goodbye to Sasha.
nity nite

I'm so sorry, hon, whichever side death comes from it is not easy for you. Countless deer or one dog? Gosh, what a decision to have to make.
I'm sorry that you have to deal with this.

Do a web search on breeding dogs and get more specific, search for words, it'll come. I can't think of it either right now, but there's definitely a term for their colouring.

not sure but i think they refer to king cavalier spaniels with the tri-coloring as "party" coloring.
sorry to hear of your dilemma. that just sucks. sometimes in life it seems like there are no winners in some cases.
