My old computer was just not up to the demands I place on it, so I'm giving it to my mother for photos and geneology research.
But I left the old photos I had digitized from slides (and the new digital photos) on the computer. My screensaver is set to photo slideshow, and since it's just waiting for me to delete the things my mother doesn't need (just about everything else), it's been giving me a pretty constant slideshow on a table next to this computer.
I was a beautiful little girl! I can't imagine why I always considered myself plain.
I am now, but it is generally conceded that I now look like my mother, and have changed almost beyond recognition to those who haven't seen me for years.
I don't know. Maybe all little girls are beautiful. But I think I'm falling in love with that usually pensive, occasionally elfin, child.

It's about time! And remember that little girl is still part of you, Dinah. Cute, lovable, elfin... you're not plain at all.

How wonderful for you, Dinah.. I don't think there's many experiences in life that can top falling in love with the child we once were, and finding it still there inside us :)

BTW, you know the way we Babblers all love you? Well, you know how much more lovable children are than adults, right, to us .. can you imagine how sweet you really are, inside now, carrying your little self around? I'm sending lots of hearts to little Dinah ....
