OK...

I'm going nuts

I have always battled insomnia

but now it's a new ballgame

Now that I'm pregnant I can't do the things I used to to try and fall asleep-- Xanax...smoking...sleeping pill... there is nothing I can do....

I lay there, I know I should be tired...I try to meditate... I try to listen to music...try to read a book....try to watch something boring on tv.... light candles...

I just want to sleep like a "normal" person

I need my sleep

I miss my sleep

HELP ME

Well, it's almost the middle of the day for me and because I don't do the sleep thing at night when I should, I would give anything to go home and crawl into bed. And sleeeeeep.

Sending you a yawn.

I am in the northeast and have a sleeping problem as well.
but...I am not pregnant.
I use ambien and it works like a charm.

what can you do????
sleepy time tea with herbs?
calcium
or magnesium
what's safe?
how far along are you?
do you have to work?
let me list the herbs:
chamomile
valerian
skullcap
hops
oat straw
you can make a tea of these...
make sure you can do each herb.
do you have a naturopathic doctor?
how about a midwife?

sleep is so precious.
the night is so long when I am waiting for sleep.
I drink red wine, it puts me to sleep.
how about beer with a lot of hops?

I do the heart breath...
inhale to a count of 5
exhale to a count of 5
and keep going till you totally relax
it's amazingly relaxing.

when are you due?

I am often up at night...I don't get on the computer.
I try to read.
my heart goes out to you.
sleepless in Vermont
