I've 'fooled' around a few times this year and dated a bit, but I still have been single for years...doesn't really bother me as I have my music and studies...
us guys with mental illness find it hard to get relationships with chicks...agree?
tell me your stories!

hi ace. one woman's point of view ...
i have had some boyfriends (of varying seriousness) off and on, but i've never lived with a man (i'm 25 and have been dating since i was 14). i broke up with my last "serious" boyfriend a year and a half ago now. there have been some dates in between, hell even a guy i have been seeing once a week or so for two months, but even then i'm not seeing him exclusively and i'm leaving the country.
i have a hard time even wanting a relationship. i keep thinking that men won't want to be with a lady like me, a crazy one that yells and cries, for the long term. i like to hide by myself when i feel bad. and i like having total control over my environment.
it's not getting the relationship that's the problem now. it's wanting to keep it. and finding somebody suitable. people get weird once you get to know them. everybody is sort of ok on the surface i guess.
This is the end of the thread.
