I think he's too busy practicing what he preaches.

I hear ya GG. All I know is if I were introduced to this guy, I'm not sure that I'd shake his hand. He may have Munstered all over himself!

Depends on how you define "civil," I guess. HermanMunster has been such a tireless and dedicated advocate of masturbation (not to mention do-it-yourself electro-shock therapy with car batteries and self-destruction with a .357 Magnum)on PB meds as alternatives to psychotropic meds that I merely floated the purely hypothetical possibility ("You don't suppose..."). Besides, on this site, I often feel frustrated; it's my perception that "civil" frequently seems to be a euphemism used by the good doctor in lieu of "obedient" and employed as a means to crush dissent. Perhaps PBCs should really be called PBOs or PDDWWISOEs (Please Don't Disagree With Whatever I Say Or Else). Introducing a PDSAETYCMD (Please Don't Say *ss Even Though You Clearly Mean Donkey) would probably cut down on the site's sturm-und-drang as well. Ta. ;) Atticus

I've wondered that myself... my question was perfectly civil and was intended for Mr. Munster. Then things got wonky ( and funny ) really fast.
My next thread's subject line might be called in the question, I guess I'll have to brace myself.

Ahhhhhhhh, it all becomes clear. I did not realise that it was a recurrent theme. Thanks for that. :-)

It must be tough for the Munsterbater to type with all that hair on his palms! Good to see you back Atticus. I see from viewing PBW that you didn't waste any time moping on hiatus.

I had one of those once.
My whole life revolved around that one thing
I would jump in the bath and before you know it
I was munsterbathing
so my question is was I musterbathing?
I am I confused by this name?
Oh gosh maybe I was, oh how silly
it really was musterbathing

Oh miss Jai, that made me laugh. It's great to see how you've found your voice on this board over the past year. Or perhaps it was always their and I just wasn't listening? Your humour and your writing spa*kle.

It's nice to see you having some fun on this site again, Jai. "Civil" or not, the responses to HermanMunster's posts (which so many posters expressed their distaste for on Admin) have generated some of the best humor and most high-spirited banter I've seen on Social in a while. This virtual community really responded well as a whole, I thought -- neo-Victorian mores and manners notwithstanding. It'll be a shame if we get strafed with PBCs for a thread that, at least to my perception, made so many people who spend so much time hurting on a typical day feel good, even if only for a while. If that's not supportive, then what is? Ta. Atticus

I don't think that will happen, right now Dr.Bob is pretty busy making new christmas skirts for the table legs in his office.

Petticoats included, I would hope. By the way, it was considered vulgar to call a woman's leg a "leg" in the Victorian era. You had to refer to it in proper, civil society circles as her "limb." I am not making this up. So just to be on the safe side, you may want to use l*g from now on. Ta. ;) Atticus
