Me too! And I think the young vote will surprise America and Wake Up the Bush adminstration. Keep our fingers cross ... it's going to be a long long night.

I am saddened by the Bush votes.
I want my country back.
it's been gone too long....4 years is way too long.
I voted for the 11,000 US dead soldiers, 100,000 Iraqi death men, women and children.Dr. B if you think this is negative try going to Iraq!
Try watching the bombing and shooting and children being destroyed.
I dare say my comment would look meek.

Let's not be negative...
The next president will likely appoint 3 Supreme Court Justices. If the next president appoints 3 justices based on the sole litmus test used for the president in his past appellate appointments, namely anti-Roe, the future control over your body, Jai, will not be determined privately by you and your physician, but rather by those who should best control decisions regarding your body... men, of course.

welcome back Verne. I have missed you.
today was really hard. I woke up at 4am and just could not go back to sleep. So many people are taking about moving to another country.
After such elections in the past I have repeatedly talked about leaving but I just stay....and watch and wait.
this reminds me of a song:
Gone The Rainbow
Adapted & Arranged:Stookey/Travers/Yarrow/Okun
Shule, shule, shule-a-roo,
Shule-a-rak-shak, shule-a-ba-ba-coo.
When I saw my Sally Babby Beal,
come bibble in the boo shy Lorey.Here I sit on Buttermilk Hill;
who could blame me, cry my fill;
Every tear would turn a mill,
Johnny's gone for a soldier.Shule, shule, shule-a-roo,
Shule-a-rak-shak, shule-a-ba-ba-coo.
When I saw my Sally Babby Beal,
come bibble in the boo shy Lorey.I sold my flax, I sold my wheel,
to buy my love a sword of steel;
So it in battle he might wield,
Johnny's gone for a soldier.Shule, shule, shule-a-roo,
Shule-a-rak-shak, shule-a-ba-ba-coo.
When I saw my Sally Babby Beal,
come bibble in the boo shy Lorey.Oh my baby, oh, my love,
gone the rainbow, gone the dove.
Your father was my only love;
Johnny's gone for a soldier.Shule, shule, shule-a-roo,
Shule-a-rak-shak, shule-a-ba-ba-coo.
When I saw my Sally Babby Beal,
come bibble in the boo shy Lorey.Jai

We are Freedom on the March towards the
Armageddon where Jesus will save us.
Please dont worry about the environment for
in heaven it is all fluffy clouds and blue skies
and we wont need this earth anymore. So for now we should just use up all of our resources quickly so Jesus will see that we are ready for our saviour to fly down from heaven and send all those evil other religions packing their bags and moving right into hell which is somewhere south of here and flowing with lava and smoke and fire.We have Jesus comign to save us we dont need any liberal intellectuals full of earthly solutions that make sense for this secular world.
For our kingdom in heaven awaits us where we all get a Hummer a basket of flowers and our own oil field.

Hi Jai
I think the democrats will have a strong candidate in 2008. "Let Patience have her perfect work".
I'm reminded of what the biblical Joseph went through. To jump ahead and mix testaments: "judge not by appearances".
His enemies threw him into bondage and did everything they could to destroy him but God meant it for good.
In the spirit, worldly values aren't what they seem and things get topsy-turvey.
In some greater perspective this could be a good thing. But hey, I'm still bummed out, I'm weak, handicapped really. I have a blind spot - my ever immediate life. I've learned to measure the trees but can't see the forest.
Still hungover. This is all I could smuggle out with the help of some day-after, remedial, drinking.
hang in there.

80 % of New Zealander's would have voted Kerry. And France would have seen him there, and Europe. But America has spoken. In the words of Helen Clarke (our prime minister) at least we know exactly where we stand with Bush. Business as usual, we know exactly where we stand indeed. And so will continue the reign of terror.
Tit for tat
You got us we'll get you back.
We know exactly where we stand.
Indeed.
