Speaking of disgusting kitchens, mine is out of control. I have dishes piled in both sides of the sink. I can't even use it. How do you make your baked potatoe? I put mine in a skillet and lightly coat it with olive oil. Then I sprinkle a little sea salt and freshly ground pepper on it and bake it in the oven. Yum...

Thats it! That's kind of funny, the only reason I mentioned how delicious mine was, was because
I was having one with with olive oil for the first time. I've used it with home made oven fries before, but never on a baked potato. I usually use sea salt and sometimes a very little rosemary and thyme.Too bad, now I want one. I was just at the store and thought about getting more potatoes but was having one of those days where the bag looked like just too much trouble to walk home with.
That's rather pathetic actually, it goes with
the disgusting kitchen kind of mood.

Gabbix, that's so funny that we prepared them almost exactly the same. The olive oil is the secret! I'll have to try a little rosemary somethyme too (hehe). Yep, I'm also really hungry for one now. I only have an old potatoe that's beginning to sprout. I've made a sweet potatoe in the oven the same way too.
My kitchen counters are pretty cluttered too. Sometime the only thing that'll get me to clean is having company over. I guess it's time to invite someone.
