Thank you for asking. A singing bowl is made from metals and recently I experienced that if you rub it with the wooden stick it will begin to give off a sound that builds into a tone of great sound.
I guess some of the bowls are from Tibet.
I loved listening to the tone. It was very uplifting.
thanks.

That is so cute, that your cat touches noses with you. What a sweet animal! What kind of kitty is she? Does she do silly things when she plays?

Jen,
i made a scrapbook of my trip from lincoln nebraska to new hampshire. i didn't go all out with the cute little tags and stuff, but i printed out all my digital pictures (I love my printer), labelled everything. i used lots of stars (i love stars) and stickers with suitcases and stuff. i just found a little keytag from Minnesota I forgot I bought today, so I'll have to slip that in there somewhere. I like black pages best, so I don't go too crazy with the fancy backgrounds and stuff. and i love silver markers. :)
i started another scrapbook for ALL my photos (except college-- i have so many there will be a third book in the works one day for those), and am going to try to get fancier. right now i'm putting all the pictures on the pages i want, and putting them in sections based on subjects, and then once i know what i have i think i'll go shopping for those cutesy little themed fabric things-- like, I used to be an EMT, so i'd love to find medical stuff. heh.
i think i'm not as creative with it as i could be, but as i do it more, i get more ideas. i think that my creativity has been kind of smothered from depression, but it's slowly coming back. i hope.
