When reading these threads do you ever find that the words you're reading could've been written by you. I see myself so much in so many of these threads. It's amazing how much we are all alike. I feel like FINALLY I found a place where people can understand me because I understand them, so much that it's actually scarey. It's like y'all are in my head writing out my thoughts. Does anybody else feel like that or am I just weird.
Also another common denominator is that I so often read 'I want to be normal' and 'I don't know what normal is'. I've seen it over and over again.

Absolutely AG. That's one of the things that has made me feel so comfortable here!
I especially connected with those that said "i don't know what normal is" too. As long as i can remember i've always thought (known) i was different. i've never known what normal is...and i like that -i know nothing else...who wants to be normal??? that's boring ;^)on 5/27 a few links up i replyed to partlycloudy pertaining to this website...you might agree with those words as well.
i actually feel good coming here. That is a Huge step for me in my life.

hey, ladies. Here's to the sense of community for those who feel diffferent. We do belong. I think what each of us have to learn is that "normal" is what makes us comfortable with ourselves. The outside world - friends, jobs, even family - it's when we are OK being who we are in those elements that I think we start to heal.
Love to you both,
