i needed nice words today. thank you! i had a very horrible day yesterday. i listened to my therapist talk, which somehow translated in my mind into 'you are a horrible person.' then, my boyfriend told me in so many words that i'm worthless. and that started because i didn't refill the icecube trays. and i just feel worse for complaining. perhaps i'll go visit my mother for a few days? that helps me to forget things for a while.
jai, you are very sweet dear. thank you for your very kind words at the most appropriate time. you have the best timing dear. and i hope you know how very sweet you are. ((((jai))))

jai,
though you aren't a 'newbie' you were one of the first people to officialy welcome me to babble. you've been nothing but sweet and inspirational to me. you've taught me to appreciate birds, wine and the environment even more than i already did. and miss jai, you are a very caring and special person.
jai, perhaps one day you'll swing by and cook dinner for me in your boots and apron. and we can watch the birds together from my porch, sipping red wine. and your sister can look and see if she sees my light. i've honestly learned a lot from you jai. thank you for letting me dear and thank you for being so very special.

<<<<<< In all fairness KK, I just want to warn Jai that when I myself took you up on this invitation, you didn't tell me that boots and an apron were *all* I'd get to wear. Or that you keep a pair of boots around for such occasions that have stiletto heels so high, one can't even run from you very fast at those times when it would clearly only be fair. And why wasn't I surprised that the "apron" was more like a bib?
By the way, I did later see the videos on the Internet that the neighbors made while we were sipping that wine on the porch, like you innocently insisted on ("let's go watch the pretty birds.." she sez. Yeah right). That's another thing she won't tell you Jai. Other than that, the fresh picked corn was wonderful, but some other dishes to go with it would have been nice (if the occasion was really as "special" to her as she claimed). By desert I was a little tired of corn dishes, but it *was* interesting to find out that you can also make wine from it in a pinch.
This is the end of the thread.
