Hi,
I realized I should have done a new thread and not responded on All Done's post like I just did. God, career success is making me so selfish and needy and whiney. Oh, crap, that means needy and whiney are really not career related.
Anyway, I'm glad that you think your mother is young, because I'm her age. I promise no mid-life crisis, my whole life has been one giant crisis. I just avoided therapy until it was practically too late.
Friends?

We don't have a choice- we were made to be friends :)
One thing I learned at a very young age (like 10) is that old isn't really a number. I knew/know too many 65 year olds that can out run me and out-smart me, I know too many 30 year olds that have retired and golf all day... I don't think that "you get old and die" I think you just live a life and die.... Old is something that happens to some people before they die. I dunno, just my theory :)
Oh- and the needy and whiney thing.... how many times have you been sooo patient, and put others before you? I bet a lot. So, you have a right to be needy and whiney when it comes to wanting this dang job!
