Just wanted to share feeling miserable without sharing the actual germs.

Hi Kelly. I'm sorry you're sick. That happened to me a few weeks ago. It came on so suddenly. I had a flu shot in October, but I guess I caught a different strain. I hope you feel better soon!

I was alright this AM and by lunch it was like -"Durn, I feel awful".
My Dad, who's elderly, got a flu shot for the first time this year and he just got over a nasty bout of it. The news was this strain wasn't covered in this year's batch - oh well!!
Yucky stuff.

Ugh. I'm sorry you're feeling bad. I hear it's a nasty bug this year. My therapist was laid up part of the week, which is really unusual for him.
Hope you feel better soon.

I caught it from my son, so we got to share feeling really lousy. We both had vaccines this year, so that says something. Our fevers were about 103 for a week, a lot of respiratory symptoms (I'm still coughing after 2 weeks), but we both are almost completely well. Dayquil and nightquil help, if the coughing gets bad, try to get a script over the phone (the hospitals and drs. offices are packed). if the fever lasts longer than a week and you're coughing, you may have developed bronchitis (I did) and now I have to take antibiotics. I just realized how cheery this is (not), at least you'll feel better by Xmas. take care of yourself- judy
