Hey,
I was sitting here in my office in Annapolis and heard a small boom. My desk began shaking and it felt like I was up on some deck or something, swaying in the wind. I asked my coworkers if they felt anything and they all just said I was insane.
Not! At least, not for that reason...they are now reporting an earthquake in the DC area.
Way cool......it wasn't much and we never get them, so I'm all psyched!
:-)

I felt it here in Richmond, VA, felt like it was right underneath my desk!
Are they sure its origin is in DC? Very exciting!

Yeah, it was really weird.

It must have been something where you live! Wow. I hope it wasn't bad enough that anyone got hurt. Up here, they are just reassuring us that power didn't and won't go out....way too light for any structural damage.

This spooky life
Last night (in uk) I watched the old fun film earthquake..twas funny
Later..
Really freaky..afterwards I went to bed and woke up in the middle of the night thinking the floor was shaking~I sleep on a futon so I'm kinda sensitive to heavy traffic~ it was shaking pretty bad- oh must be earthquake says I.
Don't think I could've felt the tremors from here...nah.
Maybe it was just a dream or I'm nostradamus (sp?)reincarnate .

Hey I saw that flick when it came out in the theaters with 'Sensurround'. Each seat was outfitted with a sort of vibrating device and there were extra-loud speakers in the theater. No kidding.

oops, should've googled first. I guess Sensurround(tm) was just lots of special speakers, not attachments on the seats. Sure felt like it though.

It was a wild feeling. I'm closer to the epicenter and the dog knew it before it happened... barking and such.
For once in my life, I can say... The earth really did move....

I like them seventies(?) disaster films.
I laughed my head off at earthquake - it's so dated...guess it was a blockbuster in it's day.
Charlton heston ain't so sexy IMO and too much body hair.
