I thought your question deserved it's own thread, so here it is.
I know what you mean about not having an opinion, and then being surprised at the times when you do.
Mine though, is more like I have a whole bunch of opinions at the same time, and it is impossible to pick one when I should have one.
People tend to think me indecisive and are sometimes irritated, but it's really nothing I have a great deal of control over.
I'm willing to bet that I'm much more irritated than they are, but they will never believe it.
Just ignore the people who are screaming at you to make up your mind. Something more irritating that you can toss back is probably in order.... I've made up my mind, and I definitely don't know. :-) That should frost their cookies.

I love that. I wanted to say something too, about Sienna's post. At Thanksgiving people were sitting around after dinner discussing art and politics, or something like that, while I disappeared emotionally like Alice In Wonderland. Finally I really did leave, the first one to go of course. I don't know exactly triggers it, but at some point in certain settings I just shut down and become miserably uncomfortable. Not necessarily because I don't know what people are talking about--although that might be true sometimes--but even if that's true why should I have to lose my entire identity.
I think that night not only did I not know, I didn't care.
But that's a different thread.

OH I am indecisive too, i dont know why. Lately Ive been just having any opinion just to have one. Even been trying out stuff that makes no sense. I think im just so close to losing it. Thanks for your reply, and Im sorry i missed it earlier. Im sort of wrecked right now.
