Dee,

I am so pleased to see anger showing through your posts. This is a big step forward. I'm hoping that this means that you are starting to see that what happened in your family is not "all about you" and how you failed, but "all about them" and how they were cruel to you.

You didn't cause their unforgivable behaviors, and you have every right to be ...(looking for Thesaurus)...full of wrath towards them. (Even "wrath" doesn't cover it, but that was the strongest word I found)

You were not "bad" to not have stopped him. You were conditioned, you had learned, that you shouldn't (couldn't?) stop him. You did exactly what you were taught. Your teachers taught you the wrong thing.
