Thank you all for your wise words of advice. They were very helpful in getting me through this rough b-day weekend. Part of me really wants to call him and ask him why he did this to me but the other part asks why bother. I miss him soooo much and it will take me some time to heal. Right now, I'm really feeling sorry for myself wondering why this black cloud of bad luck won't go away...
For those who asked if I had a therapist - I don't. My family doctor diagnosed my depression. I have an appointment with him when he gets back from vacation to get a referral for a psychiatrist. I figure that he knows my personality and he would be the best person to refer me to someone.
