hi everyone. Ive just been reading the admin board & the thread about all the new users & thought Id better introduce myself in case it's assumed Im a reincarnation of any previous poster. I have major depression that has been treatment resistant until recently.

Hi Liligoth,
I've seen your name around, though I'm not sure which boards.
I'm Dinah, and I sure wish I had an accurate diagnosis. It sounds like something changed recently in your treatment for the better. Congratulations! What's working for you?

Hey LiliG,
I jest.
i've seen your posts around too. Don't you be worried about what anyone might think; you're a welcomed addition to the board. The silly reincarnation issues usually apply to those who were miffed or blocked or some such.>treatment resistant until recently.
Sweet! How long've you been good? Isn't it kind of scary- I know it is for me- to be bad for so long and then to suddenly feel good like you used to? It's amazing and wonderful but it's happened to me so many times and not lasted. I'm always wondering when the other shoe will drop. But that's me. And I'm, well...jaded, i guess.
Sorry to add my stuff in there-I sound negative. So happy for you that you're feeling better. Most of us here know the hell it is to feel the way you have. Sounds like your breakthrough was well deserved!
Congrats, welcome and take care,
Karen

Welcome to Babble.
Hopefully you'll find some like-minded people here. And hopefully you'll tell us what worked for you - some of us are always looking for good ideas!
Here's hoping that things keep improving for you.

thanks for the warm welcomes! What is working for me after endless trials of new & old Ads is buprenorphine. I found out about this from reading old posts on this board. Strong painkillers I had taken recently made me feel normal so my pdoc was happy to try it. It worked from the first day & continues to improve. It has been about 4 weeks & usually I only last 2 at the most before effects poop-out.
I worry constantly that it is going to stop working.
