Op went fine.. in quite a bit of pain (and typing one handed!) but no real after effects from the aneasthetic which is good.. though I was quite poorely during it as my blood pressure dropped and my temp dropped dangerously, so when I came round I was all wrapped up in silver space blankets with a wooly hat on!!! But I didn't puke which was very good (Id made apoint that i always puked after a general, so they put me on a drip to stop me puking and it worked great!)
They also accidently nicked the nerve, so I have no feeling or movemtn at all in half my hand which is strange, but that should pass in next two weeks!!Thanks for the good thoughts thatw ere passed my way :)

wow, sounds scary! except for being bundled in the space blanket and wooly hat-- that part sounds fun. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Thanks for checking in.. despite being one-handed.
