I know the housing market and the job market since I was born and raised in that blasted valley back when it was orchard lands and not the paved over Silicon Hell it is now.
I'm in another country but am supposed to be back later next week. I am the pro at helping people arrange support networks. I've done so for many friends who've moved over to the coast where I live and would be happy to help you in any way possible.
Reaching out as a stranger who wants to see you make it through this. I'm selfish dammit. I'll admit it. I don't want to lose another from this board. Especially one as special and kind as you.
