Hi,
This is my first posting in psycho-social. I and looking for advice/support regarding compulsive overeating. I started off as an anorexic 13 years ago, then I became bulemic. My bulemia stopped when I had my first child, but I have had a problem with compulsive over-eating ever since I had my second son and started on Effextor and Topamax.
I am now about 30 pounds over-weight and think about suicide because I am so depressed over how out of shape I am. I used to bike 22 miles 6 days a week. I really need some support.

thanks for the reference. My p-doc says that I do not give him enough to diagnose me as bi-polar but I find that laughable. I tell him that I will try harder to be dysfunctional.

Can you put that baby in a stroller and go for a walk? Walking seems to be the only thing that works for me. I weighed 148 last year and I got so depressed that I had similar thoughts. I'm five feet tall!! I live across from a park and see people with strollers and also strollers that fasten to a bike!! what an invention! But stay here with everyone and you'll get a lot of support. xoxoxo
