I love running across someone on the board when I wake up scared in the middle of the night! Fell asleep without my klonopin again.

Yes, its neat when you get on here in the middle of the night, and someone is here to chat. I have been here before, and waited, especially when I'm really feeling down, and no one. How neat!!!

Hi sleepless ones. Tonight I'm trying melatonin + valerian + 100mg neurontin. I've slept like crap all week. Sleeping 10 hours but not refreshed, waking up several times, then there was one awful night (and day) of hell from a doxepin experiment. Yup, it was SEDATING all right, like being hit with a big hammer. I want my mind to shut off, not my motor control and my heart rhythm! Tummy still bloated from the binge-eating it induced. Yup, I'm annoyed, cranky, and irritable.
The doc said I have poor sleep hygeine. Well dude, you're not getting it. If I practice good sleep hygiene I lie there awake worrying for 3 hours. Better to stay up and watch a movie or websurf. Finally my brain shuts off, just not til 3am. Give me better pills, dammit! Or how bout getting me off the freakin' SSRIs that cause the insomnia in the first place!
Sorry, just ranting.

Welcome to you too Tabitha!
I think it should be a law that anyone who prescribes antidepressants be required to take them. Then they'd take us more seriously.
I think the Klonopin may be kicking in. Maybe I'll give sleeping a try.

obviously you can erase one embarrassing post by simply putting up another. Creates distraction.

Sorry I must go eat something, then try to practice proper sleep hygiene (lie in bed in dark). Perhaps sleep fairy will visit.

I sent off an email to a friend about a unique clematis & thought I'd check in to see if you'd read the message I left above. Boy, what a surprise to see so many up still!
It's almost 1 AM though & I better go make my bed-time tea & force feed my poor 'kidney kitty' before I go to bed - she's fallen asleep on my lap with her chin on the edge of my keyboard. She looks so cute right now.
G'night everyone.

Kar,
If I was posting this message now, I would stick the adjective of sweet on you. I have been reading some of your posts and feel I am getting to know you better now.
Whether you have two cats or two husbands, I still think you are sweet and very caring. I am glad you are here.

Well, shucks and a half, Miller. I'm flattered.
And at the risk of this becoming a love session, let me say that like your posts too...I must come clean and divulge this...I have 2... cats, Mel (female) and Joe (male). Sorry to disenchant...
