It is 5:46 am right now where I live, I have not been to sleep yet. I haven't been on the computer all night, just off & on. I keep going to bed, but just lay there, can't fall asleep!!!
I woke up Monday morning at 9:00 after getting to sleep around 5 am. So only 4 hours sleep.
Should I call my pdoc? I wonder if I am having a true case of insomnia???

Seriously - have you a lap top or can you borrow one?
Try taking one to bed, & slowly slouching lower & lower in bed as you feel sleepy. It's probably a very lame idea but if I sit up to read on the sofa, I stay awake. As soon as I take a book to bed & read, I get sleepy. I'm thinking something similar "may" work for you.
Otherwise, I wouldn't go on the computer. I can stay awake forever on it even though I have narcolepsy. It's the mental stimulation that does it for me. If you can't sleep, pick something REALLY boring to do instead. Even turn on the TV & turn to a dull, dull, DULL station or show.
If something like this doesn't work, yes, do check with your doctor about insominia.

Yes, we have a laptop (my fiancee's). Problem is we have cable internet service, and we have an airport card, so it picks up the signal from the cable in the den. I would just get online there, and believe me, I wouldn't fall asleep!!!
I'm going to figure out something to make me tired. I have been told to turn the t.v. on to the weather channel, problem, I am fascinated with weather, I could watch that channel all night!!!! :-) Maybe I'll try turning it on to QVC, or any other station that sells things . I find those channels boring!!!
Thanks...
Jodie
