I want to share a true story which may be only funny to myself.
A local preacher(Rev. Drake) that was the pastor of a local church when I was younger had an unfortunate accident. He was presiding over a military funeral.Anyway, the time came for the 10 gun salute. As they fired their guns into the air, a member of the family simultaneously fainted and fell to the ground. Someone shouted, Oh my God, they've shot aunt Betsy!" Well preacher Drake rushed to pick her up. In his haste, he promptly slipped and fell into the grave and broke his leg. He did not finish the service and does not,as yet, willingly talk about it.In a related but not confirmed story, a man was in the shower when he heard his wife scream at the top of her lungs. Not knowing what to make of it he jumped out of the shower straightaway and butt- naked and soapy ran into the living room. His wife was sceaming that she saw a large black snake run under the sofa. The man got down on his knees and looked under the sofa. When he did so the family dog licked his backside Well the man thought the snake had bit him and he fainted. The wife came back into the room to find her husband unconscious on the floor. Well the man had a history of heart problems and so the wife thinks that he's had a heart attack and calls 911. After the ambulance arrived and the paramedics were carrying the man out on the stretcher, the snake came out from under the sofa. The paramedics dropped the man and broke his nose.
