I saw your post on PB, and I hope you know better than to make life decisions while going on or off a medication. And there are so many meds you haven't even tried yet. A whole class of mood stabilizers - lamictal, lithium, depakote, topamax - any one of those might hold the key, either with or without other meds added. Finding a doctor who will prescribe benzos for the worst of it, until your body and soul have a chance to rest, is also a possibility.
Darn it Gabbi! You may be battle weary, but you are far from beaten. You have sisters who love you, friends who care.
Don't make any decisions now, while you are so tired. Unless it is the decision to rest up and then fight those darn doctors! Fight for what is best for you! You've done it for others and you can do it for yourself. It's not time to give up, Gabbi. Try the mood stabilizers, every last one of them. Or have them give you a darn good reason why they won't try them. Have those doctors try every drug in every combination in that blasted book of psych drugs.
This is the end of the thread.
