What a not very gratifying week. What a blah weekend upcoming. I need...something. What is it? If I knew what it was, where would I find it?

I dunno, can't be holy grail, there has to be something a little more than my monotonous weeks on end. Prime of life, should be better than this. But what's missing? Feels like I've tried it all and don't want to revisit it. I just want to go to some big wonderful party with fabulous music where everybody is dancing and happy. And they all want to flirt with me, of course. Is that so much to ask? And I'm wearing a killer outfit. And having a good hair day. Doesn't this should like it ought to be an attainable goal?
What are you talking about, final net? Surely you jest. In my dream your hair was perfect.
How come you're saying duuuude so much lately?
Wishing you a fabulously expensive meal. Venison medallions in blueberry sauce.

Let's see. Duuuude.
I'm only saying it for today. Somebody told me I used language beautifully (they did)and that I used interesting and unusual words.
It made me want to say Yo Duuudee. I think its my inner I can't take a compliment part.
I'm also quite batty (battier?)
from being hungry I ran out of food yesterday.
I can go to the food bank on Monday though
I've had to miss my medication because pharmacare put me on their restricted list because I don't have a permanent address.
Its making everything long and dull.
I've given into it the last couple of days.
I'm not even trying I'm just tired.I lost something
but I can't remember what it is I just know I'm looking for it.

Wouldn't it.
With little candles hanging from the trees.
And paper lanterns
And feeling polished and buffed and silky
With one (one!) glass of red wine.
And being 'so happy' to see everyone
Going home exhausted but smiling and hopeful for tomorrow.
Thank-you for the wish of a fabulously expensive meal. I think I'll have greek salad instead thogh. And a cup of really good coffee. Not like the kind you get at an elderly aunts house.
What are you going to have?

I will only serve thick triple espresso to my guests. I will corrupt young visitors with the demon coffee molecule. I'll make them listen to that quaint and long-forgotten group called _Nirvana_.
Oh man, I am reminding myself of that cheesy book / t-shirt / plaque / greeting card etc called When I am an old woman I shall wear purple.

Gabbi, I'm really sorry that you're still having problems with social services. But you can't go all weekend without food or meds, my dear. You have that peer support network, can you call them to find emergency resources? Or there has to be someome in your area, Salvation Army or someone?
Take care of yourself, Gabbi.

Oh, if only. In the meantime here in the so-called real world, I must mow the lawn. The grass blades quiver in fear.
