But I need an answer right away. (Sorry Dr. Bob).
My anger yesterday was with my therapist who is going out of town starting tomorrow. He's suggested seeing me today so that we don't part on bad terms, and yesterday while I still felt the anger I agreed.
But today I don't feel the anger (although I'm sure it's still there just beyond my awareness) and I think I might be better off just forgetting the whole thing and cancelling today's appointment. Any thoughts?

Are you afraid that if you see him the anger will come back? Or is there another reason?
I, personally, would see him to clear the air, but I can imagine why you would want to just forget about it and let sleeping dogs lie. I haven't really ever had a problem with my therapist, so I don't know how you must be feeling.
Sorry that I am not much help.Fiona

I suppose avoidance shouldn't be used ALL the time as a coping method. :)

Take care.

Can't say I got in touch with my anger, but we hammered out a compromise worthy of the UN, complete with contingency sub-agreements. And he apologized. So I'm a happy enough camper.
