I think of you whenever it comes on.
You are right about Timothy Hutton; he is definitely improving with age. The clothes are fabulous. And I just have to enjoy watching any show which uses the word "flummery".
All in all, I think it's one of the best shows currently in production.

Ahh, Dinah, yes. I am DEFINITELY enjoying it. Timothy's different than his Dad but still so charming. My trouble is it conflicts with Masterworks on the Knowledge network. It's 1 1/2 hours or more of classical performances gathered from around the world. It's quite simple to tape Masterworks & enjoy it the next day. Something I don't have to sit down to watch. I'm just never well organised enough to remember to get a tape ready to tape it in time. Hopefully, I'll remember next week.
If I'm right, you do enjoy gardening too, don't you? Rex Stout had a sister called Ruth Stout who was a fantastic gardener & wrote a book about mulching gardens. Her observations about her brother in that book were quite humourous.

I'm not familiar with this program. Many moons ago I read all or nearly all of the Nero Wolfe books. When is it on and where. I have direct tv. I live too far in the sticks for cable.

It's a TV show on A&E network based on the books. Timothy Hutton plays Archie. I think it's set in the forties? Anyway, it's pretty good.
