C-Pap mask, looks real funny, covers my nose, stops me from snoring. the thing is i move around so much in my sleep that i end up knocking it off. Sometimes i get it back on.

My mind is playing a game with me, but it wins every time, so it's really not fun. I thought they were called something with the word snore in it, but they fit over your nose like a band-aid, opening your nostrils. Football players wear them.
I suppose you have tried them already with no success, as you wouldn't be handling the heavy machinery, otherwise.

In reply to who's making you wear this thing? hubby? (nm) » Willow, posted by Krazy Kat on May 6, 2002, at 13:39:36
No not hubby, though he uses it as an excuse to run from room. I sound real funny when I try to talk with it on. The sleep doc ordered it, and it actually is helping somewhat. My legs aren't as sore, but these things can take a little time to get better.
It goes a little deeper than just the snoring. It forces the air down the throat. End result is suppose to be a better quality sleep. The latest addition has been the klonopin, but with each new thing I try over the years I am hopeful that this is it, though now I've taken a more sit back and wait and see attitude.
I just need to learn to practise what I preach and take baby steps. I think I should be able to run 5km at full pace, and considering I've been more horizontal for the past five years this just isn't reality. Walk Walk then maybe I'll be able to run again.
