In reply to IsoM, are you feeling better? Get your meds yet? (nm) » IsoM, posted by Ron Hill on May 2, 2002, at 15:49:41
No, dammit, they still haven't made it here. I got a letter last Friday saying they'd be here soon but... Never again will I order from THAT company!
I am feeling somewhat better though, but more up & down, also my moods are triggered too easily, both good & bad. I thought about how I was feeling & thought of a "sort of" solution - spring cleaning. Really.
You know the weird energy that one can have when very angry? When I have it, I funnel it into a flurry of activity so it doesn't wear me down or get expressed in a destructive fashion. Thought I'd do this with all the tension & stress I was feeling - channel it. And that's why I figured I'd houseclean when not at work (& place was in bad need of it). So much build-up of stress, I had to get it out before it did me in. It never occurred to me before to try to channel tension like I do with anger but it seems to work.
I've got some good coping strategies to deal with problems. Sometimes I can't put them to use if really, really down (then I go into energy-less zombie mode) but this is managable now. Thanks for asking.
