Yeah, I spent 2 hours writing you a thank you note that ended up scaring the hell out of ME and that's saying something, friend.

Hello friend, you have given new life to that worn out salutation, it WAS a dirty job, someone did have to do it, and you rose to the occasion in breathtaking grace and sensitivity.

Do you believe in sacred duty?
Life's unsparing curve-balls out of left field?
I never gave it much thought 'til I got here on PB, now nothin is too far fetched for my mixed up mind to reckon with.

The once-in-a-lifetime-post you delivered changes everything, including your own transformation from woman to icon. You brought us grief, you mothered us, and now you are comforting us. You're part of the Pantheon now, we will never forget the size of your contribution and the poise and courage w/ which you delivered it.

Now, about the regret you mentioned for having somehow failed Sar? I know you took time and care to come to that decision, to remain aloof, it came from wherever it came from- respect for privacy and human dignity? Sure. Astonishment? I'll buy that! Uncertainty, apprehension? Heck yeah, but that's all ok stuff, all right?
You're not a jerk, you're grieving, and the mind can get plenty skeevy on us in times like this.

Man, seeing your first post today, I bet mine werent the only eyes to bulge halfway out their sockets. We are hungry for data, and honored by your presense, the sense of duty and humility you bring to it, and my hope is that your efforts are nourishing your own spirit, in tandem with ours.

Meanwhile she's our Angel in heaven, and they're keepin her busy, teaching Charles Bukowski his very first lesson in eternal and infinite everlasting civility. Roaring clashes of thunder are about to commence.
