Requiem for a goldfish

Posted by Gracie2 on March 22, 2002, at 19:57:44

Came home from work today, had a pretty good day, and there is one of my goldfish floating around the top of the aquarium. At least I hadn't named him. I am not supposed to be sad because according to Feng Shui, a goldfish dies because it absorbs some bad chi that was headed for the people in the house.
So the three of us, myself and my son and my golden retriever, who is still wearing his beads from St. Patricks' Day, put the goldfish in the toilet and saluted him as he was flushed, as is appropriate for a burial at sea.

poor wee fishy was flushed down the crapper
