I'm not a fan of either team.
However, the Pats are dangerous because THEY BELIEVE THEY CAN WIN!
For sure they will cover, and may well win.

> For sure they will cover, and may well win.The only way the Patriots will cover or win is if they benefit again by more ludicrous calls by the referees (no, I'm not a Raiders or a Steelers fan). I don't see it happening three straight games. The Rams have too much of everything for the Pats to have a chance.
Gracie, I think you can safely order your World Champion sweatshirt :)

My husband and I have an interesting bet on this game. (He's from Boston and I'm from St. Louis).
It would be redundant to bet money on the game, since the money we make is pretty much "our" money.A few days ago, my husband cut a picture out of a newspaper. It was titled "Pats dash past Raiders in the snow". The Patriots' Adam Vinatieri was celebrating his winning field goal in overtime against Oakland, surrounded by his fellow players
against a background of falling snow.
It's a great picture, although I love it for other reasons than my husband does. I'm an artist, and I promised to paint the picture for him if the Pats won. I love the Patriots symbol
(my husband likes the old one) and most of all, I love Vinatieri's gloves. (You probably have to be an artist to understand that one.) Of course, I could never sell the painting, and it will probably end up in somebody's attic covered with cobwebs. But by God, I keep my promises.

The Pats won because THEY BELIEVED THEY COULD WIN and THEY PLAYED AS A TEAM.
Excellent life lessons for us all.

Yeah, yeah, at least you didn't give me that crap about the "Silence of the Lambs". Why, I haven't heard that joke for minutes.
And you are right, the Pats did play as a team from the very beginning. When the Rams were being intoduced onto the field, they ran out from the locker room one at a time so that the crowd could applaud each of them separately. When it was the Patriots' turn to enter the field, all the players ran out as a team. I thought that was pretty cool.Oh well, the Rams made it to the Superbowl and they had to whip all the other teams to get there. So that's something, and they stil get a
Superbowl ring. Maybe it says "Losers" on it or something but my God it's still a Superbowl ring. And it was a good game, at least we didn't get destroyed or anything. I was watching Kurt Warner give an interview after the game and it was obvious to me that he was hurting...not just from losing the game, but in real physical pain. Oh well, now he's got plenty of time to recover.
Oh well, you still have the Blues and the Cards to contend with. (Basketball...zzzzzzzzzzzzz.)
Congratulations,
Gracie
