oh... its starting to get colder now, even where i am, in sunny funny dopey florida... from the north of the panhandle (what a funnyname) to the south in the keys (that open no locks)... just one big state of eff-you-enn...i think i like it better when its cold, easier to fall asleep, windows open, time gets slowed down maybe a little in the fall... no leaves change here, they reach for water and come up smiling w/ sunflakes over them... i think...
oh and bundle up weather, layers weather, voices weather... breezy cold weather... im happier when its colder, that hot is too hot in florida, its like a lash... a cat'o'nine tails... it warps everything and makes even the grass lazy...

over here to the west, too, much cooler & there's nothing like an October-blue sky...diamonds couldn't scratch it.
october makes me feel like eating and running...'til yesterday's double-dose of neurontin kicked in...i've not changed clothes (and i look funny: scrub pants that i got from hospital job, large striped button-up shirt from boyfriend's brother, faded black hoodie that is my own. long hair in multiple tangles) but the word "poppies" caught me, i feel like i've eaten an entire field...
the doctor sent me to the land of the lotus eaters. hmmmm....
if i can pull myself together, i will go for a walk to find the nearest sandwich shop.
