Holiday Haze

Posted by paxvox on October 8, 2001, at 9:35:10

OK, I know you have all heard me whine about this before, but gee wilikers, whenever I get a Holiday off (as today is Columbus Day) I'm all wacky because I am off my normal routine. Is that obsessive or what? Arrggghhhh !!!! (Sorry Charlie Brown.....where's Lucy, I have a nickle).

I recently made an observation of changes when weekends came along...and was actually able to recognize it and actually asked hub to keep his get up go to sleep times the same...I think I agree with you...keeping routines is important. At least it is for me.

I caught another wild cat today.

mouse who has the smug look of having caught the cat on her face...

Hi Pax.... I'm lucky on this one... monday is my normal day off, but I know what you mean. Can ya sit around content enough to be lazy and just watch the tube all day? Or do something you wouldn't do.... force yourself.... or go watch the game somewhere.....
I know, these ideas don't help.... just hate to see you in a haze.
Hang in there kiddo, Kristi

Thanks y'all!

I have had one of my VERY WORST weeks of work this week! I am really getting zapped with the stress at work ( I am a supervisor with the Post Office ). Generally, I handle work-related problems "on the run" with little worries, but this has REALLY been a bad week. I hope Kristi and Susan are doing well, I will look for you on the PB open this weekend.

Yes, Kristi, the holiday was the hinge-pin upon which swung my week of discontent. We had a carrier in an aut accident on Teus., so I had to spend 11 hours investigating that. Then the rest of the week was trying to find people do cover abscent employees. Normal stuff just amplified. But I got through fairly intact. Thanks for checking back!
