Thanks kid+do,
I am not one of 'those' people who can remember artist names, songs and what the song is about, but I know what I like. Yesterday, when things got overwhelming...even tho it was quiet, I put the Eurythmics, Annie Lenox on. LOUD. I just now looked at the CDs title, Peace...I saved the world today...Needless to say, I am not the one in our house that buys the cds....
Now I need to put your songs on my list and go listen to them..
Mouse Jumping around with whisking tail
Susan Cbut, but, but, Mr Rogers is finally retiring and somewhere I have a signed photo of him 8;o)

10. "some girls"--rolling stones
9. "mr tambourine man"--bob dylan
8. "blackbird"--beatles
7. "get it while you can"--janis joplin
6. "glory box"--portishead
5. "farewell song"--janis joplin
4. #4 on tricky's maxinquaye (can't remember the name!)
3. "you got me"--the roots
2. "piper"--phish
1. "country honk"--rolling stonesnot all the happiest songs but i love music, thot i'd post some of my favorites. list is prone to change by the minute, and with only 10 options there was no room for joan b., ryan a., van m., morcheeba, travelling wilburys etc...
i think my depresson would subside 65% if only i could be a rockstar. thats my dream job. unfortunately, i can neither sing nor dance, and have never learned how to play an instrument. but when i belt out "farewell song" in private, it feels real good.
This is the end of the thread.
