turns out my numbers didn't come up, which is good because I didn't buy a ticket. Though a local group at one of the mills won. 27 people split the winnings, about $450,000 per person. Isn't that great! Last year in my little town one guy won 5 million, feels good but not as good a group winning.

So how did my problem resolve? I sat obdiently at my husband's feet for two days and presto he fixed it. Moral of the story: You don't always get what you want, but most likely you'll get what you need.

Did I miss my youngs ones? No way!

Hurray to all parents who suvived the summer. And three cheers to all the neighbours who tolerated the "spirtit of youth" with a smile.

I wonder if Kazoo knows anything about wood. There'll probably a job at the mill.

Off shopping for sneakers, school bag, and ...

you don't want your number to come up too soon...

that's nice about the group, Willow. And nice of your hubby to fix your screen.

Your motto is only too true. But why is it that some people often Do get what they want, and what they need, while those of us who are good and pure must suffer with the second hand goodies? Hmmm? I hope there's something really good waiting for us somewhere.

I like your neighbor comment. We had a young 'un - 4 - up last weekend. Beautiful BBQ day. He's a sweetie, but if you're not used to being around them - the squeaks, and the squeals... oy!

Now you can rest. You can just crawl back into bed, and sleep if you need to.

Yea!

LOL! I'll go to sleep tonight with a smile on my face. The expression should read: With a voicebox a mother could only love!

Yes, hubby woke me at lunchtime, thought I wouldn't want to miss the quiet. Boy does it feel good knowing it'll be there tomorrow. I cleaned my own room in the afternoon. Strange thing now I don't know wether it's the iron pills or vacant house to which I should attribute my well-being?

Krazy Kat come sit on Santa's knee and tell what it is that you want and what you need!

Wiley Willow

ps just watched Unbreakable. this willow is so pliant that i doubt any natural wind could uproot it. ;^)

Ooo, I liked Unbreakable - am a big Robin Wright fan. And the concept of super-human powers, fighting "evil". There was an article recently in one of the major mags about our lack of heroes in society today. It does seem that way...

I want a car, on old pick up truck. And some more energy. I can't say I want to go back to the city anymore - I was saying that too much and frustrating hubby.

Are you letting yourself rest, just lie there and not do anything? There is a natural book called "Herbal Healing for Women" by Rosemary Gladstar and she says something along the lines of "Women never let themselves sleep enough" and it's true we don't. Men will nap and sleep in, but most women won't. That book was from my twenties when I was trying to cure everything with herbs. It didn't work but it smelled good.

I'm sure if your iron was that low, the pills are helping, but some of us must have time alone, or it wears our souls out.

Take care.
