I am thankful for the people here who have shown me compassion during a very difficult time for me. I have learned some valuable lessons, that my healing is a process and I have to learn to forgive myself. I am grateful to Dr. Bob for providing this forum and for those of you who have made me feel safe enough to share some very shameful parts of my life. I wish you all a happy holiday and hope you realize how much you have helped me.

Judy,
Have a great Thanksgiving and I hope you continue to find things to be thankful for. Personally, I'm thankful that for at least one day out of the year I'm not the only turkey in the house ;0)

Judy,
Thank you. I am grateful to you, too, because you reached out to help me and others understand your plight and understand bipolar disorder, too.
You are a courageous woman.
I think by reaching outfor support, you provided something for us, too. Giving and receiving have blurry boundaries sometimes.

Looking back over the past year or so there are numerous people on this board I wish I could thank in person, including all of you who have written on this thread. When I am determinedly suicidal or bossingly know-it-all, it's hard to put up with. Thanks for your compassion and support.
With gratitude and prayers,
Chris A.
