This is my first post so go easy.
I am trying to be treated for mild depression/semi-major social phobia.
My doctor gave me:
Celexa-No marked change/jittery.
Paxil-No change/irregular heart rhythym
Effoexor XR-Currently on 75mg/day, but it has had no effect (4 weeks on it so far. It has made me mentaly numb, not my usual fast/quick witted self. I am intersted in doing things, but the excitment isn't there when I get around to doing them. Before I started any meds, I was alright, I was stable with some depressed days and some days when I was great. (Just for some background)
Any advice is greatly appreciated. I just want to find the med for me.
Thanks everyone.

In reply to HELP Meds not working (Celexa, Paxil, Effexor) :(, posted by EuphoriX on November 17, 2002, at 12:22:10
Hi EuphoriX,
Don't worry, I'll be gentle. :)
Your first post was just fine, but you found yourself on the therapy/psychology board Psycho-Psycho Babble rather than the meds board, Psycho-Babble (on Psycho). Since your question involved medication, I redirected it to that board. Here is the link:

Or you can look at the top of the page for links to all the boards of Babble.
Welcome to the site.
