This features some local identities with whom you may not be familiar, but I am sure you can fill in the gaps.

No one is disappointed in the Republicans. (Maybe people over 100?) It is just the Democrats. Thanks for Tom Perez, Barack. Socialism or Barbarism.

Sanders might surpass Biden. We really need to catch a break. The primary starts Monday. Let's hope.

> https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/jan/31/a-government-of-doers-the-morrison-governments-exciting-and-extensive-agenda-for-2020There's an article in the NYer about wildfires called "It's a Worldwide Problem" and there's mention of US firefighters receiving a 'spontaneous standing ovation' upon their arrival at Sidney airport https://twitter.com/RFSCommissioner/status/1215194398721368065?s=20
Anyways, here's this from the Americans' perspective "In the first couple of days after Russell arrived in Australia, he told me, he was a little confused by the accent, and some of the local jargon. I thought they were calling us fairies, he said. How are all you American fairies doing? He soon realized they were saying fireys, the affectionate Australian term for firefighters. Bird Dog aircraft here are called spotters, fire lines are firegrounds, wildfires are bushfires. Fire engines are called appliances. But that makes us think of fridges and freezers, Austin, the Canadian, said."
I like to be reminded we can still do some good things in this world. Didn't First Dog say something to the effect that we can only have hope in other people (and not our governments)(my paraphrasing)?

There is some graffiti i saw ...... El tiempo no existe.
In a world like this it is hardly surprising that some seek to deal with their pain by destroying innocence and the breaking of hearts, but it is not (to say the least) a worthy way of behaving. That's why we have norms.
Even now we have Australia Day on the day most insulting to the indigenous. I think they know we don't realise that it is not about them, it is about us. We say 'Oh, it will make no difference, they'll never be any better'. or 'We brought then civilisation, before there was nothing but bush', forgetting 'Thou shalt not steal' and 'Thou shalt not kill'. We are good people and they are not.

As when Trump said that Palestinian kids with rocks, or was it Syrian kids with stones on the wall, whatever kind of b*llsh*t it was....they should be shot.
I understood him perfectly. Their innocence and their broken hearts are an affront to us.
Nada y nadie deberķa parar nuestro camino.

The administration has lifted the ban on landmines.
