David Sylvain is a domestic US terrorist.
Sylvain Sylvain was a member of the scabrous and amusing New York Dolls along with David Johanssen, and
David Sylvian was a member of Japan, a prog rock thingo. So I guess that is him.
I miss the aesthetics of Tarkovsky films. Andre Rublev is said to be one of the best films ever. We went to see Planet of the Apes yesterday. Twentieth Century Fox, the cash cow surrounded by his attack dogs. Capitalism will destroy itself. I suppose this is a transition period and will take time. I very much liked parts of "Requiem for the East" by Andrei Makine. Nice to have a non western viewpoint.

This song is from one of my favorite albums, 'Secrets of (from?) the Beehive'. I saw Sylvain during this tour. He was a bit dour (IMO) and the musicianship of all amazing. The audience was reverent.
My husband downloaded the film in this clip. 'Ivan's
Childhood'. Hope it has subtitles. I'll probably have a real crying jag....I miss film. When it was created on film. Being written with light and shown through light. Like shadow puppetry.

Sounds like the title of a book you would write. Or the name of a band.
