New Things in Health Bill Being Discovered Daily

Posted by bleauberry on April 13, 2010, at 17:11:40

"We need to pass this bill so we can find out what's in it." That was Nancy Pelosi. A 2000 word conconction that nobody knew all that was in it. Can you imagine, people actually voting yes on something they didn't even know the details of, all the while the majority of citizens were saying no don't do it? Anyway...

New discoveries hit the news every day. Even the networks usually pro-Obama are coming out with stuff that makes him look bad. It's too bad they don't do this kind of investigative journalism BEFORE the fact, rather than after. Geez.

If someone doesn't pay for the required premium, they have to pay a fine. If they don't pay either, they won't see their income tax refund. The IRS will confiscate it to pay the health bill. They are training 10,000 new agents.

"It takes a long time to put together the legistlative administration to "control" the people"...a quote referring to the bill. Oops.

Today they find out that Congressional members will not have their customary highend insurance coverage, but instead the same lowend one that everyone else gets. Oops. I bet they didn't know that when they voted on it.

Also today, it is admitted that the bill will NOT lower premiums and will not prevent premiums from getting more expensive. Oops. All the promises were it would lower premiums and give everyone a $2500 savings.

Too many lies and "integrity" issues led to the passage of this bill. Everyone should have access to the best health care in the world...but not by this particular means.

Think about it. All of a sudden millions upon millions more people in the medical system? Logic tells you real simple...doctor shortage, rationing of care, and huge costs. Simple mathematics. Not to mention stories abound of specialists already planning their exists for a premature retirement. Doctors in general did not want this bill, already accustomed to how poorly other government run health programs pay them and treat them, so no wonder doctors are planning the exits. Heck, it will cost a fortune just to hire 10,000 IRS agents, and that is only the tip of the iceberg of a monstrosity of a beauracracy in the making.

Sigh.

Can anyone else think of ways to get awesome health care for every one? I can. I aint no genius. It aint rocket science. I bet you could come up with some great ideas too. Stuff that is good for everyone, supported by practically everyone, and doesn't need any "intregity issues" to twist arms in getting it barely passed. I bet you could do that. You have to be smarter than what we've seen. It would not be possible to not be. How did anyone come up with this "thing" erroneously labelled health care reform? It doesn't reform anything except the best health care system in the world into a 3rd rate one.

Funny stories. People all over the country are going into hospitals wanting their free healthcare, MRIs, and such. Come on, are people really THAT out of touch with reality, that they don't even know this thing is to be taxed immediately but doesn't even begin until 4 years from now? Wow.

No wonder. That explains a lot.

Sigh.

Grin.

Would anyone be willing to try to show bleauberry how he might rephrase that or to encourage him to apologize? You may have the power to help him avoid being blocked again.

I apologize for saying that as bluntly as I did. Surely there are smoother ways to rephrase it, and I will work on improving those skills.

Thank you very much for your patience.
