Tom Waits grew on me. I just really connected with him within the last 6 or 7 years. He is a songwriter's writer.

I'm not a Tom Waits groupie or anything--but you're right--he's a songwriter's writer. That, in itself, doesn't necessarily make you an expert on how to live your life--but this particular song rings deep down in the soul. I know it cuts off early on this particular clip--but it was the clearest version I could find for folks who might not be able to understand what he's singing--I mean he is hard to pick up at times. Glad you liked it--it made me think of your loved one.

I heard a song years and years ago about a house in the moonlight and later found the words on the net. I've lost it and would dearly love to find it. It was inspirational in a way that caused me to go out in the yard at midnight (full moon) and dance with the lightening bugs....
