I just thought of something else about us. I watch a "legal" show on ABC called "Boston Legal" with a variety of prety good actors in it.

He talked about how both parties operate the same and it is all about the oil, wars, politics, etc.
It was really something to see that on primetime television.The week before it was about The Supreme Court.
I am going to find the Makine book, if I can, and read it. I will also suggest it to the Texas MoveOn.org people.

I see politics like sailing a big shipping liner. You can't expect too much too quickly, but give a decade and you can notice the difference.
One difference perhaps between us and you is that you have this tradition of independant action.
This can be good (say philanthropy) but really rich rightwing people on the loose can do all sorts of stuff.

I read that GWB has a resting pulse rate of 41 or something. Olympic standard anyway. Must be that trail bike riding. He'll outlast all of us.

That's the sort of thing I'm curious about.
And about the certainty he says this relationship has given him.
