The first lady of our nation read "Duck for President" to the children at the Easter Egg roll. I think she is nice.
My favorite Dr Seuss book is "Go, Dog. Go!"
It's author is PD Eastman.
My favorite pages are 48-49.
Maybe she will read that next year.
So it goes.

i've found a new favorite dr suess book. "oh, the places you'll go!"
it starts with
Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!and ti talks of people who are just waiting, but those aren't your people. and how life's very frightening and sometime's you're very alone.
there sure is a whole lot of wisdom in dr suess, isn't there? i jsut read this one to my son. he ignored the important parts, to which (bossy momma kk) i said 'listen up ducks! this here's the important stuff!' but i realized he'll have plenty of time to learn it.
i don't know that i've read "go dog go", but i'm sure it's upstairs somewhere (or in the garage, or in the oven or toaster, that seems to have disappeared).i think it's really nice that the first lady read to children.
it's almost like a present, seeing you out.
This is the end of the thread.
