I just heard that a debate among Republican candidates for President is scheduled for May 3. WHAT??? The traditional date for announcing candidacy is Nov. the year before the election, as in Nov. 2007. If an incumbent president is running again, they usually don't announce this til January of the election year. So what's all the hurry here? I so don't want to listen to this for this long.

That's too soon! YIKES! Pretty soon they're gonna be campaigning all the time and never working. I'm covering my ears too. "La la la la la la la la."

I think what bothers me most about this early start to everyones' campaigns is how much money they are going to chew through in getting all the ads on the air.
And then there are the Robo-calls (thank goodness for caller-ID).
