The amazing thing is that most of this was known well before the election and there wasn't more public outcry.

I for one wrote letters about the lack of paper trail. I write software for a living and know! that it is never perfect. I was worried the second I heard about no paper trail. Geez - hackers have got into secure government computers. There's no reason to think this would be better.

Why no. Don't you know that with computers we become a "paperless" society?

It must be true. I am the only one here that knows how to load a printer and I'm old as the hills. My first home computer was a commodore 64.

My ex hubby still owns one, along with a commodore 64 and the sup'd up 128! :-) Our basement looked like a room at the Smithsonian. Geek City.

I'll compare your basements to my closets.

C-64 was the first "home" computer - I used computers at work and didn't see a need for one at home. I used the C-64 (and then the C-128 - boy, I thought that one just flew!) to modem into school.

At work we had "Trash-80s" I still have a disk for one at home. It contains my alltime favorite game - "adventure" also known occasionally as "caves"

Notice there are retro "Atari" games available now? I still have 2 of the originals, and a box of games.

Should we also compare vintage stereo equipment?
