Pdocs in Boston--bipolar specialists preferred

I wonder if anyone can recommend a good psychiatrist in the Boston area. Therapists too actually. I've got some questions about specific plans.

Thanks

Boston pdoc recs please--bipolar specialists

would be preferred.

Hey all, long time no talk. I apologize, and now I'm just going to use you all rotten. I'm not up for supporting much.

Can anyone recommend good psychiatrists and therapists in the Boston area? And if people wouldn't mind, I'd love to e-mail offline.

The employer operates its own HMO. So, I'd love to know if people who've worked there have any experience with the referral process etc.

Thanks,
Abby

Hi Abby,
I redirected your post to the medication board, as there are many posters there who use pdocs, and you might get more response there.

Here is a link to your post there: http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/20050601/msgs/506622.html

Also, you might contact the Massachusetts Psychological Association http://www.masspsych.org/public/index.html for a referral to a therapist. The Babble psychology board is also a good place to talk about finding a therapist.

Good luck!
