I recently lost a lot of weight in 1 month (20 pounds). A few people at work say I look to thin. BUT so many people say I look GREAT and to keep up the great work. I guess I am as fat as I think I am.
Even this morning my mum said "you've lost some weight." and I said "I've lost a few pounds" and her response was "well, it's a start!". Thanks. Now I will lose another 20 pounds just to be on the safe side.
People are idiots.

Are you sure that is a good idea. People tell me I look like I have lost weight when I have not and even once when I had actually gained weight. What do they know. And my mother; OMG she was always telling me I was too thin even after I porked out. What do you think about how you look? And is it a good weight for your?? Let go of what the others say; they don't know sh*t.

Hi Maxime,
You are right that people are idiots. Nobody ever says "you look great, did you gain weight?"
That said I am determined to lose weight before that doctor appointment. I wish purging still worked, I hate my aging body even more than I hated my youthful body.

I think my face looks thin (a little) and my boobs have shrunk. Other than, all I see is lump of fat when I look in the mirror. I hate every body part.

Aging is not fun. Slow metabolism and too hard to lose weight.
It's a good thing you can't purge even though it doesn't feel like it. I have never been able to purge and I know that is a good thing, but still wish I could.
Take care.

Ah yes; the wonderful aging body. My sister-in-law who has had an eating disorder ever since she married my brother-in-law actually looks older than me now as she is still thin, and I am not. This really scares me, that if I get down to the weight I want, and that actually is reasonable, I will look older and more wrinkly. I then start thinking about the North woods and just wondering into the wilderness and well, that would be that. Don't worry; no plans for the immediate future.

When I get my ob-gyn surgery rectocele, cystocele and sagging and kinking bladder and falling prolapse uterus will also have the tummy tuck I've always wanted and the plastic surgeon said the stomach fat does not return it will go elsewhere bottom is where he said it usually goes and mine is flat so it's fine with me. It's my present to me. Every now and then I take out of savings and treat myself. And I'm getting old so if not now it will be never. Phillipa

In the end, it's what is inside that counts.
